ACTIONS IN THE EVENT OF AN INSURANCE EVENT
What to do in case of an accident?
1. Call the 24-hour Dispatch Center of PJSC GRAVE UKRAINE Insurance Company, at 0443545529 or 067 505 3013 (it is also indicated in the policy) and inform the operator of the details of the accident.
2. Make sure that there is no danger to the life and health of all participants in the accident and others. If necessary, call an ambulance and representatives of other competent authorities.
Emergency service telephone numbers:
101 - fire department;
102 - police;
103 - ambulance.
3. Install an emergency stop sign on the road and, without unnecessary need, do not move the car (or damaged objects).
4. If you can, make efforts to reduce the damage and/or save the car (property).
5. Call the police or register the incident according to the Europrotocol. The Europrotocol can be registered on a special paper form or in the "Electronic Europrotocol" system at https://dtp.mtsbu.ua. Its use is possible under the following conditions:
the owners of all cars involved in the accident have valid MTPL policies - you can check this on the website https://policy-web.mtsbu.ua/;
as a result of the accident, only cars were damaged and there were no injured or dead people;
the participants reached an agreement on the circumstances of the accident;
the drivers have no signs of alcohol, drug or other intoxication or being under the influence of medical drugs that reduce attention and reaction speed;
6. Record information about the participants and witnesses of the accident:
from the participants of the accident: full name, contact phone numbers, series and number of the MTPL policy, name of the insurance company that issued the policy;
from the witnesses: full name and contact phone numbers.
7. Take pictures of the accident scene and damaged cars from several angles using a camera or smartphone.
8. Within 3 business days, contact the office of PJSC GRAVE UKRAINE Insurance Company with a written report of the accident.
List of documents for registering and settling the case:
— written report of the accident with the vehicle;
— application for payment of insurance compensation (original, only for the victim);
— Europrotocol (original, if drawn up by hand);
— insurance policy (copy);
— passport of a citizen of Ukraine (copy);
— certificate of assignment of an identification tax number (TIN/RNOKPP) (copy);
— driver's license (copy);
— vehicle registration certificate (copy);
— power of attorney for the right to represent the interests of the victim, if the applicant is not one (copy);
— photographs of the accident materials taken at the scene of the incident (if available).
Important!
If necessary, the insurance company has the right to request additional documents and conduct an inspection of the vehicle.
