Insurance Company
Grawe Ukraine
The history of the development of the Austrian financial concern GRAWE in Ukraine dates back to 1998, when the insurance company "GRAWE UKRAINE" began its activities in the field of life insurance. Since 2008, the concern, having acquired the Ukrainian insurance company "INPRO", has also been engaged in risk insurance.
INPRO Insurance Company (now GRAVE UKRAINE) was established by a group of shareholders (two legal entities and five individuals) in Kyiv in 1992 as INPRO Reinsurance Company Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 5 million rub.
In 1994, the company became an associate member of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine and received licenses to carry out two mandatory and nine voluntary types of insurance.
In 1995, the company was re-registered as a closed joint-stock company "INPRO Reinsurance Company" and increased its authorized capital to 25 billion rub.
Since the adoption of the new Law of Ukraine "On Insurance", the insurance company "INPRO" has been relicensed and received permission to carry out Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability for owners of land vehicles (CMTPL) and other twelve types of voluntary insurance.
In 1999, by decision of the shareholders, the location of the company's head office changes. The office is being moved to Lviv. Subsequently, the name of the company also changed to the Closed Joint Stock Company "INPRO Insurance Company".
Since 2000, the company has been developing dynamically: the number of regular and new clients is growing, the size of the authorized capital is increasing, and its own regional network is expanding. So, today the company's regional network includes 12 offices, including offices of divisions in Odesa, Dnipro, Lviv, Kharkiv and Kyiv.
The pace of development is facilitated by the large number of insurance licenses at the disposal of the company. GRAWE UKRAINE has 10 licenses for the implementation of voluntary and 7 licenses for the implementation of mandatory types of insurance.
The dynamics of the development of JSC IC "INPRO" attracted the attention of foreign investors. On April 10, 2008, the insurance company became a member of the Austrian concern GRAWE and was renamed to the Closed (now Private) joint-stock company "GRAWE UKRAINE Insurance Company".
Already in the first year of its work as part of the GRAWE concern, despite the economic crisis and a decrease in the level of trust in insurance companies in general, the company showed a positive increase in insurance payments. In 2014, by decision of the shareholders, the location of the company's head office changed. The office is being moved to Kyiv and is now located at the following address: st. Velika Vasylkivska, 65, Kyiv.
By becoming part of the GRAWE concern, IC "GRAWE UKRAINE" strengthened its many years of experience in the field of insurance and adopted the Austrian insurance traditions, financial stability and the highest standards of business conduct, which guarantees its clients the quality of services, reliability and safety.
